What Are The Different Types Of Breast Cancer?

1. Insitu breast cancer

It is the type of breast cancer where the cancer cells, starting from either the ducts or the lobules, have not evaded into the other breast tissue. 

2. Invasive breast cancer

It is the type where cancer cells have spread from their originating tissue to other breast tissue. Invasive ductal carcinoma is the most common type of invasive breast cancer. These invasive types can be slow and aggressive. 

There are some other special types of breast cancer you need to know;

• Triple-negative breast cancer:  It is an aggressive type of invasive breast cancer in which cancer cells lack estrogen or progesterone receptors and do not make a protein called HER2.
• Inflammatory breast cancer: An aggressive type of invasive breast cancer in which cancer cells block the lymph vessels in the skin, causing the breast to look inflamed.
