Study Overview
A systematic review and meta-analysis examining the gastrointestinal effects of the newer oral (non-peptide) GLP-1 receptor agonists, danuglipron and orforglipron. Pooling data across clinical trials, the study found nausea to be the most common side effect and showed how symptoms increase with higher doses -helping clinicians and patients weigh the trade-offs of these emerging weight-management and diabetes therapies.
