Your cervix is an important part of your overall reproductive and sexual health. But it is often overlooked.   2. Pap smears and HPV tests is another way to know your cervical health. The American College of Physicians advises starting cervical cancer screening at age 21 with a Pap test every 3 years. These screenings can catch early changes in cervical cells before they become problematic.
  3. Keeping yourself safe from sexually transmitted infections is another way to keep your cervix healthy. Use condoms to reduce the risk of these kinds of infections.
  4. Lastly, a balanced diet, regular exercise, and avoiding smoking can support your immune system and keep your cervix healthy.
